Hi, I'm Stephanie

I’m the director of Resilient Roots Counseling and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in California. With over 15 years of experience in a children’s hospital, I’ve witnessed both immense grief and the incredible resilience of the human spirit. These experiences have profoundly shaped my holistic and trauma-informed approach to mental health and well-being.

My Story

Growing up, I was inspired by the strength and resilience of the women in my life, particularly my mom and grandmother. Their stories—and the courage of so many others—sparked my passion for this work. Now, as a woman and mother myself, I understand the immense pressures society places on us and the unique struggles women face. What I know for certain is this: you don’t have to face those struggles alone.

Today, I’m dedicated to empowering women to navigate life’s challenges and build lives rooted in authenticity and resilience. Using a combination of evidence-based practices and a warm, collaborative style, I help women heal from past wounds, overcome obstacles, and step confidently into their potential.

My Approach

At Resilient Roots Counseling, my goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to thrive. Whether you’re navigating a life transition, recovering from trauma, or embracing the joys and challenges of motherhood, I’m here to help you uncover your strength and resilience.
